Do the Not Doing in order to Undo the Overdoing

My fluids resonate with the bay’s fluids and the scent of brine cleans my blood. Three distances hold my view–near, the leafy glade; middle, the bracelet of blue water; and on the far horizon, a spiny sea monster of Outer Green Island–mix their visual melodies in my eyes’ understanding. I’m able to write this because I have finally calmed down. It has taken a month. A month of being aware and avoiding hoopla. It doesn’t just happen because of sea air.

Have to do the not doing in order to undo the overdoing. Yep! This is clearly my mantra.

  1. We live on a Great Lake, but you have just made me miss Ocean. There is something distinctly special about her, and yes, it is intimately entwined with that smell.

How beautiful are the written words you have shared across the electrical world we now live in. I especially identify with the word “hoopla.” However, I have not been so lucky lately to avoid it but the wisdom of time and the years of aging are beginning to assist me even if it is only for the moment. Love, Gayla

I enjoy and love movement of ones body…seeing it behave witht the environment…the ocean in respond to your photo makes me feel so much movement as I hear the sound of the wave moving and surging and withdrawing from the shore, as well as the undercurrents, the power that is felt when the ocean rises and lowers…yet I hear so much more too…the crash of the waves as the ocean pulls out it makes a thunderish sound…whoosh, splash the booom as it hits the rocks and the stones rolls over moves not of it’s own will…and the wind not a calm day…I feel movement in the wind as it tosses the air up and all over and too as it carries the ocean sprays beyond then oceann spray evaporates in the air…I also touch part of the ocean when it falls on my body touching my skin…and yes I too can smell must of the deep when I take a deep breath of the air….

  4. I really love the ocean and actually went the other day and looked at it in awe. How does God do that? Your article seemed like you became one with ocean which was really cool by the way!
